Job Description
Senior Technical Designer – Part Time
(Estimated 20-30 hrs per week.)

Responsibilities:
- Own and lead fitting sessions, from scheduling to prep, to making sure meetings are efficient, productive, collaborative and successful.
- Set the highest product excellence standards. This means fit and quality but equally important is the implementation of Design’s vision.
- Partner cross-functionally the founder ( and creative director) Design, Product Development and Materials
- Partner with vendors for sampling, fit corrections through TOP approval, and assist in investigation on QC issues.
- Self-manage and problem solve issues that arise where appropriate.
- Communicate + present clearly with Sr. Leadership.
- Collaborate with cross functional team to meet quality, delivery and cost goals
- Manages deliverables + things outside of the day to day scope of fit development
- For example, pattern block development, construction standards, enhancing vendor manual, vendor training, department projects
Requirements:
- Excellent technical design knowledge in apparel across multiple categories (fit, construction, grading, tolerances) is required.
- Experience in Sweaters and knits is a huge advantage
- Digital pattern making skills
- 5 + years experience as a technical designer
- Desire to work in a very fast-paced environment and an ability to not become frustrated with last minute changes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail orientated: A successful candidate has an obsession with the details in our clothing and works closely with our factories to ensure those details are executed.
- Comfortable in a face paced environment that requires wearing many hats.
