Position Overview
We are seeking a creative, forward-thinking Designer to join our Innovation Studio in Dhaka. The ideal candidate will be a Bangladeshi national with experience studying or working in the U.S. apparel market, and a strong understanding of American retail expectations, seasonal trends, and brand standards.
This role involves close collaboration with international design and sourcing teams to create commercially successful, trend-driven apparel collections for global clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop seasonal and capsule collections aligned with U.S. market trends and client direction.
- Utilize AI and virtual design tools for concept visualization and 3D sampling.
- Create mood boards, color stories, and presentation materials that reflect trend insights and innovation.
- Collaborate with product development, merchandising, and production teams to maintain design integrity.
- Research new fabrics, trims, and sustainable materials.
- Participate in client presentations and communicate design concepts effectively.
- Stay current with fashion, sustainability, and digital design innovations.
Qualifications
- Bangladeshi national with fluent English communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or related field.
- Experience studying or working in the U.S. apparel market—essential.
- Minimum 3 years of professional fashion design experience, preferably in private label or fast fashion.
- Expertise in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and AI/virtual design software
- Strong trend awareness, aesthetic sense, and garment construction knowledge.
- Collaborative mindset with cross-functional team experience.
