Reporting to: Apparel Product Development Director
Department: Fashion Design Centre Department
Function: Product Development
Role Objective:
Lead the creative and technical aspects of fashion design, ensuring the development of innovative, market-relevant, and high-quality collections that align with the brand's vision and business goals. The role involves leveraging advanced design expertise, trend analysis, and leadership skills to deliver commercially successful products while fostering creativity and sustainability within the design team.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Strategic
- Responsible for monitoring global fashion trends(colours/designs/..........) and communicate with fashion design section and collection team through fashion websites and attending global fashion exhibitions.
- Collaborates with fashion trend research and market analysis sections to execute collection designs based on samples and reports received from the trend and market analysis team.
- Operational
- Lead the design process for seasonal collections, from concept development to final execution.
- Develop and refine design concepts, ensuring the meet the brand’s vision and market trends.
- Create detailed technical sketches, specifications, and mood boards for each collection with collaboration of technical section.
- Oversee fitting and make necessary adjustments to ensure designs are accurate and of high quality.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure the designs are produced within budget and on schedule.
- Work closely with the central collection team to ensure that regional and global fashion taste are included in the seasonal collection.
- Work closely with the technical section to ensure fabrics and accessories are compatible with designs.
- Stay informed of industry trends, competitor designs, and emerging technologies to inspire and elevate design concepts.
- Ensure consistency and alignment with brand identity across all collections.
- Collaborate with central collection teams, market analysis and brand section to ensure collection compatible with brand identity.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and maintain high standards of creativity and innovation.
- Delivering Collections on time with the required quality.
- Create Fashion Design Center manual and procedures for his department.
- Create Design Center strategic and annual plan.
- People
- Develop team members by providing timely and constructive feedback to help team members identify their strengths and weaknesses.
- Supervise the fashion design center department team, providing mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level designers.
- Evaluate his team.
Education & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Fashion Design Bachelor’s in Textile Design or Apparel Merchandising .
- Certifications CLO 3D Certified Specialist, or equivalent certification.
- Adobe Certified Professional, CAD, Photoshop.
Experience:
- Experience: 7+ years in fashion design, with strong portfolio showcasing leadership in design.
- Preferable work experience with LCWAIKIKI and Premark.
