Job Description – Part-Time Freelance Technical Designer (Menswear)
Location: Onsite/Flexible  in NY
Job Type: Part-Time | Freelance

Our client is seeking a skilled Technical Designer to join their team on a part-time freelance basis, specializing in menswear. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a luxury or premium product development background who can collaborate with overseas factories in Europe and Asia. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with overseas factories to ensure fit, construction, and quality meet brand standards.
  • Provide pattern corrections (patternmaking experience is a plus).
  • Oversee technical aspects of menswear, focusing on cut & sew knits, denim, and wovens.
  • Ensure accuracy in technical packs, grading, and sample reviews.
  • Identify and resolve any production and development issues.
Key Qualifications:
  • 4-10 years of experience in technical design for menswear.
  • Strong expertise in pattern correction and garment construction. 
  • Extensive experience working with factories in Europe and Asia. 
  • Background in luxury or premium product development. 
  • Highly detail-oriented and quality-driven. 
  • Immediate availability to start.
