Jewelry Designer 

Location: Apex, NC (Onsite)

With bold original artwork and a commitment to quality, they proudly serve over 4,000 boutiques across the U.S. As they continue to expand, they're seeking a talented and detail-oriented Jewelry Designer to join their creative team and bring seasonal collections to life. 

Position Overview 

The Jewelry Designer will lead the conceptualization, design, and execution of innovative, trend-forward jewelry collections each season. Working closely with the Product Manager and VP of Sales and Design, this role is essential in developing cohesive collections that align with the brand's vision and resonate with current market trends. From initial concept through production-ready artwork, the Jewelry Designer brings creative ideas to reality. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Design & Product Development 

• Conceptualize original product ideas and seasonal collections, creating trend and mood boards as visual references throughout the design process 

• Build and refine product presentations based on internal feedback, evolving existing products into fresh seasonal versions 

• Design cohesive product programs and families that balance aesthetic appeal with functionality, ensuring lightweight and comfortable wearability 

• Create detailed sample specifications for factory development, including design files, digital renderings, materials, finishes, dimensions, and packaging details 

• Collaborate with production teams to refine designs based on factory input and technical feasibility 

• Review samples for accuracy against specifications and adjust designs based on internal and external feedback 

• Prepare and deliver final production files for approved products, accounting for development flexibility and seasonal adjustments 

Creative Direction & Trend Research 

• Maintain expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) 

• Stay current on design trends, industry innovation, and competitive landscape 

• Explore and apply new techniques and technologies to enhance product design 

• Present design updates and concepts in weekly check-in meetings 

• Contribute to a collaborative and innovative team culture 

Catalog & Marketing Support 

• Assist in designing seasonal catalogs and supporting marketing materials 

• Ensure product imagery and layouts reflect brand standards and seasonal direction 

• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams on promotional materials as needed 

Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Product Design, Jewelry Design, or related field 

• 5+ years of experience in product or graphic design (consumer goods, gift, fashion, or jewelry preferred) 

• Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, range, and technical proficiency 

• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) 

• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail 

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines 

 
Salary Range: $55,000–$70,000
