Master Tailor – Men’s Luxury Tailored Clothing and Casual Sportswear (contract to perm)
 
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Master Tailor. This role is for a menswear apparel brands and will be based out of their Phoenix Arizona location. This is a part time role with the hope of becoming full time within a three month period. Estimated 20 hrs for the first few months.
 
As the Master Tailor of this respected menswear brand, you will lead and execute all deliverables for the tailoring department, you will ensure that customers receive only the highest quality service in a timely manner. The ideal candidate has vast experience in luxury Italian tailored suiting, is customer-centric, and will excel in a fast past environment. 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee tailoring department
  • Manage all Tailoring of structured and unconstructed suits, sportscoats, trousers and shirting. 
  • Tapering sleeves and pants, collar and jacket shortening, recutting when necessary, cutting jacket button holes, 
  • Provide some guidance for specialty fittings where the work would be done by you (for example shorten jacket sleeves from shoulder or take in the chest)
  • Manage deliverables 
  • Manage relationships & shipping with outside tailoring partners and work toward bringing all tailoring in-house. 
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience (or equivalent) in luxury Men’s tailoring
  • Experience with button hole machines
  • Onsite in Fort Worth
  • Understanding of fit and patterns a huge plus!
  • Hourly rate of $25-$35 per hour
