Physician Assistant

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee back-office operations, ensuring smooth workflows and effective team collaboration
• Assist in surgical procedures, including scrubbing in and providing relief breaks
• Conduct post-operative scheduling and ensure timely follow-ups
• Remove sutures, assess wound healing, and administer medications as needed
• Manage OR efficiency and ensure surgical cases progress on time
• Maintain open communication with the team to ensure high levels of patient satisfaction
• Respond to patient emails and inquiries with professionalism and urgency
• Monitor patients for signs of complications and collaborate with the surgical team when necessary
• Foster a positive team environment and ensure team members receive breaks and support
• Provide exceptional customer service and emotional support to patients throughout their surgical journey

Qualifications

• Current and valid PA license in the state of California
• Current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain current
• Minimum of one year of surgical experience, with a strong emphasis on scrubbing in and hands-on surgical tasks
• Leadership experience in a clinical setting is required
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and flexibility to adapt to daily changes
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Experience in plastic surgery or a related field preferred but not required
