Part-Time Senior Designer – Women’s Wovens & Cut & Sew Knits
Location: Remote
Hours: Part-time (10–15 hours/week)
Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Designer to support the development of our women’s woven and cut & sew knit assortment. This role will own the design and product development process from concept through production approval, partnering closely with merchandising, production, and factory teams.

Key Responsibilities
Design & Product Development
- Partner with merchandising to identify customer needs, analyze performance, and assess assortment gaps
- Research and present elevated, timeless design concepts aligned with brand aesthetic
- Develop and refine designs to support line plans and assortment strategies
- Own the full lifecycle of product development from concept through production approval
Technical Design & Execution
- Create and maintain tech packs, including BOMs, POMs, and grading
- Manage styles, tech packs, and sample tracking within PLM systems
- Lead fabric, trim, and material sourcing with a strong emphasis on quality and luxury standards
- Partner closely with factories to ensure design intent and execution are achieved
- Lead fit sessions and communicate clear, actionable feedback to vendors
Collaboration & Organization
- Maintain strong communication with cross-functional teams and global vendors
- Track and manage samples, technical updates, and development timelines
- Ensure a high level of organization and attention to detail across all workstreams
- Contribute beyond core design responsibilities as needed in a lean team environment
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in women’s apparel design and product development
- Luxury or high-end brand experience required
- Strong expertise in wovens and cut & sew knits
- Deep understanding of fabrics, yarns, trims, garment construction, and manufacturing processes
- Proven ability to own the end-to-end design and development process
- Experience working in smaller or emerging brands and comfortable wearing multiple hats
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel, and PLM systems
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
