Job Title: Product Development & Production Manager (Beauty)
Location: Texas, Mexico City, or California (Remote/Hybrid)
Job Type: Part-Time (15-20 hours per week)
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development & Production Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch. Key responsibilities include managing, tracking, and ensuring the smooth progress of products through all stages of production, from conceptualization and development to manufacturing and distribution. The ideal candidate has experience in the clean beauty industry, excellent communication and problem solving capabilities and thrives in an entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Development & Execution: Oversee the full product development lifecycle, ensuring timely execution from concept to final production.
  • Manufacturing & Sourcing: Manage production runs in Mexico,  assist in the sourcing high-quality raw materials, and optimize ingredient procurement.
  • Vendor & Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, ingredient suppliers, and packaging vendors in Mexico, USA and Asia.
  • Production & Machinery Knowledge: Recommend equipment and machinery needed for manufacturing while ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Quality Control & Compliance: Conduct rigorous quality control, testing, and troubleshooting to uphold branding and product standards.
  • Inventory & Supply Chain Management: Manage production quantities, product makeup, and volume planning for efficient production runs.
  • Purchase Orders & Logistics: Issue POs, track production timelines, and ensure on-time delivery of materials and finished products.
  • Reporting & Problem-Solving: Maintain detailed reports on production, flag any issues early, and provide solutions for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • 5-8 yrs Proven track record in beauty industry within product development and manufacturing.
  • Experience working with Mexican and USA manufacturers and sourcing beauty ingredients.
  • Understanding of equipment, machinery, and production processes with the ability to recommend optimizations.
  • Skilled in quality control, product testing, and production run planning.
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, ensuring the successful delivery of products that meet both market and customer needs
  • Problem-Solver: Proactive approach to troubleshooting and process improvements.
  • Fluent in Spanish preferred
Salary Range: $85,000-95,000 (Part-time $42,500-$47,500)
