Production Coordinator 

Location: Apex, NC (On-site)

Our client is a fast-growing, women-owned lifestyle and apparel brand known for inspiring design, meaningful gifts, and bold seasonal collections. With distribution in over 4,000 boutiques nationwide, this brand blends thoughtful artistry with operational excellence to bring high-quality products to market. 

As the company continues to scale, they are hiring a Production Coordinator to support the end-to-end manufacturing lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing global vendor communication while maintaining strict quality and timeline standards. 

What You’ll Do 

Production & PO Management 

• Create and issue purchase orders within the company’s supply chain platform (Sage) 

• Maintain and update POs and product lifecycle data 

• Track production calendars to ensure on-time delivery 

• Maintain weekly WIP reports and production status updates 

Sample & Approval Management 

• Follow up on PP samples, TOP samples, bulk fabric, trims, and accessory approvals 

• Review approvals with the internal design team and communicate comments to vendors 

• Attend fit meetings for production samples 

• Monitor lab testing for fabrics, garments, and final inspections 

Vendor Communication & Quality Assurance  

• Maintain daily communication with overseas vendors to ensure deadlines are met 

• Proactively identify and escalate any potential production risks or delays 

• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet brand standards 

• Support cross-functional teams as needed throughout development cycles 

What We’re Looking For 

• Experience in production coordination, sourcing, or supply chain within apparel or consumer goods 

• Familiarity with ERP or supply chain systems (Sage experience preferred) 

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines simultaneously 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly with international partners 

• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality assurance 

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
