# 1 Production Manager – Managing Merchandiser and Garment Production with Multi-Factory Coordination

Position Overview:
 Our client, a rapidly expanding Gen-Z Fashion Brand, is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and manage merchandise coordination and oversee garment production across multiple factories. This critical role involves handling all production-related challenges, ensuring seamless operations, and driving problem-solving initiatives in collaboration with the factories and Around Guangzhou, China 

Responsibilities:

• Production Leadership: Manage the merchandising team to oversee garment production across various factories. Ensure that production schedules align with delivery timelines and quality standards.
• Problem-Solving: Act as the primary point of contact for resolving production issues with factories, employing proactive solutions to mitigate delays and quality concerns.
• Factory Coordination: Collaborate with multiple factories to streamline production processes, ensuring optimal resource allocation and adherence to brand requirements.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee production quality control, ensuring garments meet design specifications, brand standards, and customer expectations.
• Team Management: Supervise and guide the merchandising and production teams, fostering effective communication between designers, factories, and logistics.
• Process Optimization: Develop and implement standardized workflows and operational guidelines for production management to ensure efficiency and scalability.

Additional Qualifications:

• Production Expertise: Strong background in garment production, with in-depth knowledge of timelines, costing, and vendor management.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Skilled in coordinating with design, technical, and logistics teams to ensure smooth production cycles.
• Analytical Approach: Ability to track production metrics, analyze performance, and optimize processes for better outcomes.
• Industry Knowledge: Expertise in fabrications, trims, raw materials, and development calendars.
• Adaptability: Experience working in fast-paced environments, particularly within fast fashion or startup settings.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for reporting and communication.

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing merchandise production and handling multi-factory operations.
• 5-8+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally within fast fashion.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
