Quality Control Manager – Garment Production- Guangzhou, China
Position Overview:
Our client, a rapidly growing Gen-Z Fashion Brand, is seeking a Quality Control Manager to oversee garment production quality across multiple factories. The ideal candidate will ensure that all products meet the company’s high-quality standards, manage inspection processes, and work closely with production and merchandising teams to maintain consistency and excellence in our Guangzhou, China office.
Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance Leadership: Develop and implement quality control systems for garment production across all factories, ensuring adherence to company standards and specifications.
Inspection Management: Oversee in-line and final inspections at factories to identify and address quality issues at every stage of production.
Factory Collaboration: Work closely with factory QC teams to establish clear quality benchmarks and provide guidance on corrective actions when standards are not met.
Problem-Solving: Resolve quality-related production issues by collaborating with the production, merchandising, and design teams.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of inspections, quality reports, and production feedback to improve overall product quality.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine quality control procedures, ensuring efficiency and scalability as the company grows.
Compliance: Ensure that all products meet regulatory standards and customer requirements in terms of quality, safety, and fit.
Team Training: Train and mentor factory QC teams and internal staff on quality standards and inspection protocols.
Additional Qualifications:
Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of garment construction, fabrication, and finishing processes.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to identify quality issues in materials, stitching, and finishing.
Analytical Skills: Skilled at analyzing data from inspections to identify trends and implement improvements.
Experience with Multi-Factories: Proven ability to manage quality control across multiple production facilities.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in quality control management, preferably in fast fashion or high-volume production.
Strong knowledge of fabrications, trims, and garment production processes.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Fluency in Mandarin and English Language is a must
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for reporting and documentation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving production needs.
