Position Overview:
We are seeking a Sales Associate with 10 + years of experience in luxury retail, preferably in high-end tailored menswear with an understanding of custom clothing. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, polished, personable and professional with a strong sales background, leadership experience, and the ability to build long-term relationships with clientele. This is a full-time, in-store position based in Carmel, California.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead by example to drive personal and team sales goals
Build and maintain relationships with high-profile customers, offering exceptional service and style guidance.
Train, coach, and motivate a sales team to meet and exceed performance goals.
Monitor inventory, visual merchandising, and store presentation in alignment with luxury standards.
Collaborate with ownership and buyers to provide insight into customer preferences and market trends.
Manage client outreach and follow-up, maintaining a strong network of repeat and referral business.
Ensure a seamless, high-touch shopping experience that reflects Khakis of Carmel’s reputation.
Qualifications:
10 + years of experience in luxury retail sales, preferably menswear.
Proven track record of achieving sales goals and leading successful teams.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong understanding of luxury clientele and high-end service expectations.
Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated with a passion for men’s fashion.
Compensation and Benefits:
Base salary range of $48,000 for first six months plus commission
9% commission against a $48,000 draw on personal sales after 6 mo.
