SALES MANAGER – BRIDAL
Reports to: Senior Director of Global Wholesale
Seeking a Sales Manager to help successfully grow our client's Bridal wholesale division. This is a key role within the wholesale team, responsible for overseeing and coordinating the sales activities of the entire Bridal business while managing client relationships and driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Senior Director of Sales to develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets, increase market share, and expand the customer base. This includes analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities for growth, and setting / hitting the sales goals.
- Forecast sales trends, set sales quotas, and create sales budgets while adapting to changing market conditions.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze variances, and take corrective actions as needed to ensure revenue goals are met.
- Track sales metrics, prepare sales reports, and analyze data to assess performance, identify areas for improvement / expansion, and make informed strategic decisions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, retailers, wholesalers, and other business partners across domestic majors, specialty, and international. Address client needs, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction to foster long-term partnerships.
- Partner with Senior Director to negotiate sales contracts, pricing agreements, and terms of sale with customers, vendors, and partners. Ensure that all sales agreements comply with company policies.
- Work closely with departments such as marketing, design, production, and logistics to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Responsible for overseeing all logistics, shipping, and financial aspects of the business. Partner with key teams to drive this.
- Represent the company at trade shows / events / store training to showcase products, generate leads, and build brand awareness. Network with potential clients and industry professionals to expand business opportunities.
- Sole point of contact for client inquiries and issues. Provide excellent customer service.
- Keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and growth. Stay informed about product offerings and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to ensure products are effectively promoted and displayed to drive sales.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience in the Bridal Wholesale space.
- Experience working with domestic majors and specialty. International is a plus.
- Excellent sales-related skills: prospecting, relationship building, negotiating, and follow-up.
- Strong analytical background. Ability to analyze sales and create achievable sales targets.
- Problem solving skills.
- Strong communication skills – both internal and external.
- Organized with the ability to prioritize tasks, set goals and manage time effectively.
Salary: $90-110K
