Seasonal Warehouse Sale Associate
Job Description
Job Title: Seasonal Warehouse Sale Associate
Location: Greensboro, NC
Employment Type: Temporary / Short-term (Event-based)
Reports to: Retail Store Manager
About the Role
Our client is looking for energetic, fashion-forward, and hardworking individuals to join our team for our upcoming Bi-annual Warehouse Sale. This is a high-volume, fast-paced event where we offer our community exclusive access to archive collections and samples at up to 80% off.
We are seeking seasonal warehouse associates for Check-Out, Restocking, and Dressing Room Attendants. As a Warehouse Sale Associate, you are the face of the brand during our busiest weeks of the year. You’ll help organize and maintain the sales floor, ensuring every guest has an enjoyable shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Experience: Greet customers with warmth; assist with sizing, fit questions, and navigating the warehouse layout.
- Floor Maintenance: Constantly "zoning" the floor re-hanging items, color-coding racks, and ensuring fitting rooms are cleared quickly to keep the line moving.
- Inventory Management: Unpack and sensor new stock as it’s pulled from the back to the sales floor; assist in "merchandising on the fly" to keep the shop looking full and inviting.
- Point of Sale (POS): Efficiently process transactions using Shopify’s Point-Of-Sale checkout system, ensuring accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
What We’re Looking For
- The Vibe: You are positive, proactive, and thrive in a social, high-energy setting.
- Stamina: You’re comfortable being on your feet for 8+ hours and can lift up to 30 lbs (those boxes of dresses can get heavy!).
- Efficiency: You can multitask like a pro—answering a customer's question while simultaneously straightening a rack.
- Availability: Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends during the sale window (March 18–21 and March 25–28).
- Experience: Previous retail or event experience is a plus, but a "can-do" attitude and a love for the Marie Oliver aesthetic are most important.
Perks
- Competitive hourly pay, including allotment to use on items at the sale.
- An exclusive "sneak peek" and opportunity to shop the sale before the public.
- The chance to work with a creative, female-led team in a fun, collaborative environment.
Dates and Times
- DATES:
- Tuesday, 3/17 (3-7P)
- Wednesday 3/18 - Saturday 3/21
- Wednesday 3/25 - Saturday 3/28
- RETAIL HOURS:
- Wednesday & Thursdays 10-7
- Friday 10-6
- Saturday 10-5
