Job Description
- Lead the brand’s LA design team and manage all development and design processes (sampling and production times, collection and drop planning, etc.)
- Lead the fashion team (designers and technologists) and assemble, based on their suggestions, key trendy items for monthly deliveries- be the person who understands our target audience and knows what they want, in terms of styles, fitting and colors!
- Work with design + PD Team to develop and execute monthly deliveries, ensuring all designs are on-trend, commercially viable, and in line with the brand's overall aesthetic!
- Project Management - Lead and Manage Design and PD teams, work cross functionally with others, and report to the Executive team.
- Review data/ presentations by trend forecasters to identify emerging fashion trends and consumer preferences.
- Manage direct reports and lead future extensions of the LA team.
- Solid background in designing and constructing collections for women’s Fast Fashion brands is a MUST.
- Proven ability to lead project meetings and lead teams to maintain high-quality work.
- 8+ years of experience- Leading and managing teams for fast fashion brands.
- In-depth familiarity with social media and social media influencers, nano to mega.
- Strong management and organizational skills and excellent communication skills are required.
