Senior Technical Designers Needed  – Multi-Category (Bottoms, Tops, Dresses, Wovens, Knits)

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Technical Designers with extensive experience across multiple apparel categories, including bottoms, tops, dresses, wovens, and knits. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong technical expertise, a keen eye for garment construction, and proficiency in Gerber and CLO 3D software. The Senior Technical Designers will collaborate closely with design, product development, and production teams to ensure accuracy, quality, and efficiency throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead technical design development for multiple categories, ensuring accurate garment fit, construction, and execution.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical packages, including accurate specifications, graded measurements, and construction details.
  • Manage fit sessions, conduct fittings on live models or dress forms, and provide clear feedback to patternmakers and factories.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Product Development, Sourcing, and Production) to ensure design intent is met.
  • Oversee pattern corrections and revisions in Gerber and create realistic 3D garment visualizations in CLO 3D.
  • Maintain seasonal development timelines and deliverables, ensuring all technical design tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Review samples at all stages (proto, fit, PP) for quality, construction, and adherence to brand standards.
  • Act as a technical mentor to junior team members, fostering a culture of precision and efficiency.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of technical design experience in the apparel industry, with a strong background in multiple categories (bottoms, tops, dresses, wovens, knits).
  • Expert proficiency in Gerber pattern design software and CLO 3D for 3D garment rendering.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, patternmaking, grading, and fabric properties.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to cross-functional partners.
  • Experience managing multiple styles and timelines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and quality standards.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with overseas vendors and internal teams.

Compensation: 90-100k
