Sr. Patternmaker - Contemporary Dresses

Overview:

This role is Full-time, On-site, M–F at our Vernon HQ.

What you'll do:

Create accurate 1st through production-ready patterns from design sketches using both CAD (Gerber) and manual methods
Collaborate with Technical Design, Sample Room, Design, and Production teams to execute designs and ensure patterns meet fit, form, function, and spec standards
Attend and take part in sample and production fittings, applying necessary corrections and updates
Maintain standards for grading, construction, and measurement across all garments
Identify and troubleshoot potential production issues early in the development process, with a focus on cost and aesthetics
Track fabric shrinkage and garment performance, applying adjustments as needed
Research new methods and bring innovative patterning ideas to the team
Follow all tech pack requirements and meet project deadlines with precision
Lead with a solutions-oriented mindset, helping remove bottlenecks and optimize development workflows

What you'll need:

10+ years of patternmaking experience in a fast-paced fashion environment
Proficiency in Gerber and manual pattern drafting
Experience with Computer CAD systems and strong functional knowledge of Microsoft Office
Knowledge of Centric PLM is a plus
Strong draping and technical construction skills
Bachelor's degree or certification in Patternmaking or Fashion Merchandising preferred
Collaborative, proactive, and highly organized with excellent time management
A sharp eye for detail, ability to work under pressure, and passion for quality fit and construction

Compensation:
$85,000 – $110,000
