Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Retail Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our client’s apparel/lifestyle retail store. The ideal candidate will have a pulse on retail trends, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving sales in a fast-paced retail environment.
As the Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of store performance, delivering exceptional customer service, leading a team, and driving sales growth. You will ensure that all store activities are aligned with the brand's goals, customer expectations, and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Store Operations Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the store, ensuring smooth execution of all tasks, including inventory control, visual merchandising, and store cleanliness.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Manage and optimize stock levels to meet sales targets while minimizing inventory shrinkage.
- Sales & Customer Service:
- Drive store sales and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by providing product knowledge and personalized shopping experiences.
- Monitor customer feedback, address complaints, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, inspire, and motivate the store team to achieve performance goals.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and training for store associates.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, providing feedback and support for team development.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-energy work environment.
- Visual Merchandising & Store Presentation:
- Ensure the store is visually appealing, well-organized, and aligned with the brand’s merchandising standards.
- Implement seasonal and promotional visual displays to maximize sales opportunities.
- Inventory & Stock Control:
- Manage inventory processes, including stock replenishment, stocktaking, and ensuring accurate stock levels.
- Monitor loss prevention procedures to minimize shrinkage and maintain store profitability.
- Financial Management:
- Manage the store’s budget and operational costs to ensure profitability.
- Analyze sales data and KPIs to track performance and adjust strategies to meet targets.
- Reporting & Communication:
- Provide regular reports on store performance, sales trends, and customer feedback to upper management.
- Communicate effectively with the Area/Regional Manager to ensure alignment with corporate goals.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of retail management experience, preferably in the apparel or fashion industry.
- Proven experience in driving sales, managing inventory, and leading a team in a retail environment.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficient in retail management software, point-of-sale systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in business, fashion management, or a related field is a plus.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle changing priorities.

Base Salary Range: $80,000-$95,000
