Position Overview
Our client, a leader in luxury home furnishing, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Vice President of Sales to spearhead the growth and expansion of their current client base. This role will lead a national team and is crucial to building and enhancing outbound sales and business development capabilities across the country. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in driving revenue growth by implementing innovative sales strategies, fostering team collaboration, and developing strong relationships with clients. This position offers the opportunity to shape our sales direction, maximize market opportunities, and elevate the overall performance of our sales team. Responsibilities Include
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive national revenue growth and expand market share, aligning with their overall business objectives.
- Team Management: Oversee and mentor a national team of Account Managers, fostering a high-performance culture through coaching, training, and performance management.
- Outbound Sales Development: Build and implement effective outbound sales initiatives to identify and engage potential clients, generating new business opportunities and enhancing the sales pipeline.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry partners, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and driving customer satisfaction.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze sales metrics and market trends to inform decision-making, identify areas for improvement, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve sales targets.
The Ideal Candidate Has
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience and a proven track record of success in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the real estate industry.
- Deep understanding of the residential real estate market, including key players, industry dynamics, and emerging trends.
- Strong network of contacts within the residential real estate, interior design, or hospitality sectors, able to leverage existing relationships for business development purposes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with diverse stakeholders.
- Highly motivated self-starter with a results-oriented mindset and a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute complex business development plans.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and/or other CRM softwares
