Denim Designer 
We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Denim Designer with proven experience designing and developing denim apparel for high-volume retail programs. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in denim fabrications, washes, fit development, and cost-effective design solutions.
This role requires a strong balance of creativity, technical knowledge, and commercial awareness, with the ability to deliver trend-right and consumer-focused denim products
Key Responsibilities
  • Design & Development: Create original denim concepts, silhouettes, washes, and finishes for seasonal collections.
  • Trend Research: Conduct research on denim trends, styles, fabrics, and finishing techniques to inform designs.
  • Technical Proficiency: Produce detailed technical packages, including CAD sketches, specs, and wash details for factory execution.
  • Collaboration: Partner with merchandising, sourcing, and product development teams to meet design, cost, and timeline objectives.
  • Sample Management: Review and approve prototypes, fit samples, and lab dips to ensure design integrity.
  • Innovation: Incorporate sustainable practices, materials, and washes where applicable.
  • Presentation: Prepare line sheets, design boards, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of denim design experience with Walmart or large-scale retail accounts (required).
  • Expertise in denim fabrications, washes, and finishing techniques.
  • Strong technical design, sketching, and CAD skills; proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Understanding of apparel production processes, cost parameters, and timelines.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience working with overseas vendors and factories is a plus.
  • Passion for denim innovation and consumer-driven design.

Compensation:70-85k
