This role is instrumental in driving the expansion of both our e-commerce lifestyle brand and apparel printing brand. Key responsibilities include establishing new partnerships with national premium retail chains, nurturing growth through our corporate sales program, and managing relationships with our existing B2B customers.
 
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully pitching and securing deals with national retailers. Proficiency in project management, strategic planning, and collaborative engagement with various internal departments is crucial for success in this role. Job Responsibilities:
  • Sell products, develop new accounts, and expand existing accounts.
  • Develop annual business plans and goals, providing monthly updates on achievements versus goals along with action plans to meet objectives.
  • Act as a strategic business partner to customers and prospects, understanding their needs and striving to exceed expectations.
  • Conduct meetings, presentations, webinars, and product demonstrations over the phone or on web platforms.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of brands and competition in the marketplace.
  • Collaborate closely with the design department on trend forecasting, future selling seasons, product development, and account feedback.
  • Identify revenue opportunities within the entire client organization.
  • Attend trade shows and markets, presenting the current line to buyers with relevant product knowledge.
  • Analyze and utilize data for a comprehensive evaluation of accounts to recognize revenue opportunities and drive sales.
  • Manage accounts, monitor areas of growth opportunities, and advise on the sell-through of buys.
  • Continuously seek new sales opportunities, expanding major department store, e-commerce, and specialty boutique account relationships by opening new accounts and creating growth opportunities.
  • Ensure seasonal plans align with business objectives and collaborate with the planning team to maximize sales growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other departments as needed to ensure smooth transactions.
  • Analyze sales records and trends in relation to objectives and competitive activities, taking or recommending necessary actions to senior sales management.
  • Keep management informed of economic, competitive, and other factors affecting the region, providing recommendations for improvements and changes.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4+ years of Wholesale sales experience with a proven track record of success
  • 2+ years of consumer-packaged goods (CPG) sales experience preferred.
  • Some travel (as needed) anywhere in the continental United States
  • Tenacious, resilient, persuasive, and can take initiative. Display a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Self-motivator, quick study, works hard independently, does not need constant direction; takes action and runs business.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, follow-up/organization skills, problem solving, analysis, and presentation skills are paramount to success in this position.
  • Must be proficient with all MS Office Suite (particularly Excel & PowerPoint).
  • BA/BS degree preferred.
Education:
  • High school or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
Salary: Up to $85,000.00 per year + commission
